For my self directed project this semester me and my friend Carlos partnered up to make a wooden car

The "steps" for making this are quite vague because we started with a rough sketch of how we thought we could put it together, but for the most part figured out how we were going to build the next part as we were getting the pieces for it. We started with making both front and back wheel sections and then connected them with a long center beam. after we had the rough frame we spent the majority of the rest of the time adding support beams to our car so it would be able to support me and my partner.

I actually really like the end product. Even though it doesn't match our original design it still works and it was a lot of fun to build,

The biggest challenge for this project was without question how much improvising we did, We sometimes were in a position where we had to rethink our whole idea of how to build it because we learned something about how we intended to build the car that meant we had to change our entire plan going forward.
